Heatwave/School Groups

The Soak City Heatwave program is for non-profit youth groups planning a visit to Knott's Soak City! The Heatwave program is ideal for many youth groups because of it's flexibility. As long as your group has a minimum of at least 15 guests & have a valid Non-Profit Organization Tax ID number you are eligible. Also with the Heatwave program, for every 15 tickets you purchase you recieve a free chaperone ticket! The Heatwave program offers 2 different ways to order your tickets based on what is best for your group.

Heatwave Consignment program:

This version of the program is for particularly large groups (a minimum of at least 50 guests). With this program you order an amount of tickets at least 3 weeks in advance and you order more than you think you will need. These tickets will be mailed to you before the date of your visit and you simply come to the park and enjoy your day! Then within 2 weeks of your visit, simply return any unused tickets along with a payment check (organizational check or cashiers check)  for the tickets you did use & you're all set!

This is ideal for large groups that may flucuate in head count up until the day of your visit or groups that need a little extra time to coordinate the payment. Please note that with the consignmnet program your group may be subject to a credit check before approval. Also, with this program we require a 3 week processing time so please keep that in mind when planning your visit!

Consignment Program General Information Recap
-Groups of 50 or more are eligible for the Ticket Consignment Program. (Groups less than 50 can make a group reservation order, see below section for more details)
-ORDER EARLY! Consignment ticket orders take approximately 3 weeks to process. Group Reservation Orders require at least 2 days.
-Payment and return of unused tickets must be received 2 weeks after your event date.
-1 chaperone ticket will be provided with every 15 Heatwave youth tickets purchased. (Purchase 15 - 16th ticket for chaperones - admission only.)
-A complete information packet will be mailed with your tickets. Please read carefully.
-All required rules and regulations must be followed.
-Chaperones MUST be informed of all requirements and agree to responsibilities.
-Purchase orders will not be accepted for this program

Heatwave Group Reservation Order:

This version of the program is for groups between 15-50 or groups that would prefer to just pick-up their tickets and pay all on the date of their visit. This is also a great option for those groups that are planning a bit more last minute because with this program we only need a few days notice.With this option you simply let us know your best estimate on how many will be in your group & when you will be arriving. Then on the day of your visit, just go to any open ticket window, pick-up your tickets, make payment & you're all done & free to enjoy the park with nothing to worry about after! Also note that with this program, there is no need for a credit check because you will make payment upon pick up of your tickets!


Group Reservation Order General Information Recap
-Groups of 15+ can make a group reservation by calling 619-661-7373 x308 or x329, Monday-Friday 9 a.m.-5 p.m. - Reservations are taken a minimum of two (2) business days prior to the group visit.)
-Payment must be paid upon recieving tickets at main gate before entering the park.
-Group Reservation Orders require at least 2 days.
-1 chaperone ticket will be provided with every 15 Heatwave youth tickets purchased. (Purchase 15 - 16th ticket for chaperones - admission only.)

Heatwave Admission Prices

Admission Per Person
(Minimum of 15 guests per group)

Groups of 15-50    -       $20.99 per person (with 1 Free chaperone ticket for every 15 tickets)
Groups of 50+       -       $19.99 per person (with 1 Free chaperone ticket for every 15 tickets)

Heatwave Meal Program

Don't want to Worry about feeding everyone? Let us take care of the food. For just $8 more per person we offer an all-you-can-eat buffet from 11am - 1pm! Please note that there isn't a free meal ticket for every 15 to match the chaperone program so please plan meal orders accordingly.

All-You-Can-Eat Meal Deal -  $8.00 per person

Meal Details
-Menu includes: Hamburger, Hot Dog, Chips, Fresh Fruit, and Juice.
-Buffet Meal available from 11a.m.-1 p.m.
-Service hours subject to change based on attendance & park operating hours
-Meal tickets are available on consignment or on Group Reservation Order (Please note that with a Reservation Order we will need a meal headcount AT LEAST 2 days in advance)
* Please Note - No sack lunches allowed inside Soak City
